These terms govern your use of the LumiDeer app, companion smart lighting devices and related services provided by Jiangmen Xiaolu Technology Co., Ltd. ("we"). By downloading, installing or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

1. Through the app we provide device setup, power and dimming/color control, timers and scenes, status monitoring, notifications and firmware updates;
2. Some features depend on network, Bluetooth and the capabilities of your specific device and firmware version;
3. We may upgrade, adjust or optimise the service and will notify you where appropriate.

2. Account and security

1. You must register with a valid email address and keep your credentials safe; losses caused by your own negligence are your responsibility;
2. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if your account is used without authorisation;
3. You may delete your account in the app; account data, home and device bindings will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

3. Using the devices

1. Install, pair and use the devices according to the manual and in-app guidance. Avoid damp, hot or electrically unsafe environments;
2. Availability depends on power, network and Bluetooth conditions; occasional offline status or control delay is normal;
3. Keep power and network stable during firmware updates; the device may be briefly unavailable while updating.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

1. interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers or networks;
2. reverse engineer, crack or tamper with the app or device firmware, or bypass security mechanisms;
3. use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others;
4. rent, lend or resell the account or service without our permission.

5. Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the software, firmware, trademarks (including LumiDeer), interface designs and documentation belongs to us or the respective owners. You may not copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit them without written permission.

6. Changes, suspension and termination

1. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, force majeure or third-party failures; we will give notice where possible and restore service promptly;
2. We may restrict or terminate the service if you seriously breach these terms;
3. These terms end when you stop using the service and delete your account.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by factors beyond our control, including network failures, power outages, third-party service failures or force majeure;
2. The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation but will keep improving it;
3. Product quality and after-sales service follow the warranty terms supplied with the product and applicable law.

8. Privacy

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring the matter before a competent court where we are located.
